This Modern Slavery Policy ("Policy") sets out the commitment of Leading Organisational Learning (ABN 34 622 815 279) ("we", "us", "our") to identifying, preventing, and addressing the risks of modern slavery in our business and supply chain.
While we are not currently required to report under the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth), we recognise that modern slavery is a serious global issue and we are committed to operating responsibly and ethically.
This Policy applies to all aspects of our business and to all individuals and entities with whom we engage, including employees (if applicable), contractors, suppliers, and other business partners.
We are committed to conducting our business in a manner that respects and upholds human rights, and that actively works to prevent modern slavery, forced labour, child labour and human trafficking.
We do not tolerate any form of modern slavery in our operations or in our supply chain.
We are committed to:
· identifying and addressing potential risks of modern slavery in our business and supply chain;
· working with our suppliers and business partners to promote ethical and responsible business practices; and
· continuously improving our practices and raising awareness of modern slavery risks within our sphere of influence.
Leading Organisational Learning is an Australian-based professional services business that provides consulting services across governance, strategy, leadership, people, culture, financial performance, client experience, digital transformation, and M&A.
We also develop and offer proprietary tools and products to support our clients, and other offerings as developed from time to time.
Our business is predominantly knowledge-based and office-based, and we do not manufacture physical goods. We engage a small number of professional suppliers, contractors, and service providers, primarily in Australia, and we make use of reputable software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms to support our operations.
Based on the nature of our business and supply chain, we consider the overall risk of modern slavery in our operations to be low.
We recognise that no business is immune from the risk of modern slavery. We have considered the potential risks in our operations and supply chain and believe that the overall risk of modern slavery in our business is low.
Key factors that contribute to this low risk include:
· the nature of our business, which is based on professional consulting and digital product development rather than physical goods manufacturing or complex global supply chains;
· the limited number of suppliers and contractors we engage, most of whom are based in Australia and operate in low-risk industries (such as professional services and software); and
· our use of reputable SaaS platforms and service providers that maintain clear commitments to ethical business practices and compliance with applicable laws.
We remain vigilant to any emerging risks and are committed to reviewing our risk profile regularly.
While the risk of modern slavery in our business and supply chain is assessed as low, we take the following actions to manage and mitigate potential risks:
· we conduct due diligence when selecting new suppliers, contractors, and service providers, considering their ethical practices and compliance with relevant laws;
· we include appropriate terms in our standard agreements (such as our Independent Contractor Agreement) to require compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards;
· we maintain awareness of modern slavery risks through regular review of industry guidance and resources; and
· we will investigate any concerns or reports regarding potential modern slavery in our operations or supply chain and take appropriate action where required.
We are committed to continuously improving our approach to managing modern slavery risks.
This Policy, and our modern slavery risk profile, will be reviewed at least annually and updated as necessary to reflect any changes in our business operations, supply chain or relevant legal and regulatory developments.
We welcome feedback from stakeholders and partners to help us strengthen our practices and contribute to broader efforts to eliminate modern slavery.
If you have any questions or concerns about this Policy, or about modern slavery risks in our business or supply chain, please contact:
